DURHAM SCHOOL SERVICES PARTNERS WITH MEMPHIS REDBIRDS TO SUPPORT OUTSIDE CLASSROOM LEARNING
In addition to being fun, watching baseball can be educational. Hundreds of local kids from Memphis will be given the opportunity to attend a game through free transportation provided by Durham School Services.
“Durham School Services is proud to be partnering with the Memphis Redbirds Education Days,” said Laura D. Warren, general manager for Durham. “We are delighted to provide transportation to the ballpark so students will have the wonderful opportunity of seeing a ballgame, as well as putting their classroom education in action. Our top priority is the safety of the students we transport, whether it is getting them to school safely, on time and ready to learn or taking them to an extracurricular activity. As a member of the community we take pride in being a good neighbor and helping to enhance the education of Memphis-area children.”
