Durham Announces New Senior Vice President of Human Resources and Safety
Downers Grove, IL... Durham School Services, the third largest student transportation provider in the United States, announced the promotion of Bob Ramsdell to Senior Vice President of Human Resources and Safety. He has been a part of the organization since 1997 and has been recognized for his outstanding work in safety, service and community responsibility by the National School Transportation Association as a recipient of the Golden Merit Award in 2002.
“Combining the safety and human resource functions will provide us with increased synergies in development and training,” said John Elliott, President and Chief Executive Officer of Durham. “Bob has an excellent track record in his previous safety roles and also brings leadership skills in human resources, benefits, recruitment.”
Ramsdell was most recently Vice President of Safety. Prior to joining Durham he worked for Dave Transportation Services Inc. in southern California.
