DURHAM SCHOOL SERVICES’ LEWISVILLE CUSTOMER SERVICE CENTER WINS BUSINESS OF THE YEAR AWARD FROM FLOWER MOUND CHAMBER OF COMMERCE
AUSTIN, TX—Durham School Services, the third largest student transportation provider in the U.S., today announced their Lewisville, Texas Customer Service Center was named Business of the Year for 2003 by the Flower Mound Chamber of Commerce.
“It was a huge surprise,” said Durham’s general manager Richard Shively. “I just thank the chamber for what they’ve done and the community for being such a wonderful place to live and work.”
Durham School Services began providing student transportation services for Lewisville Independent School District in 1988. Durham now employs 300 people in the area.
The chamber’s goal is to unite the business community for the development and prosperity of Flower Mound. The award is presented to a business that has been a good corporate citizen. Flower Mound chamber president said, “This year we were pleased to recognize the many contributions Durham School Services has made to this chamber.”
