National Express Recognizes Employees For Their Commitment To Safety
Love the Bus Campaign Celebrated in U.S. and Canada

WARRENVILLE, Ill.
– National Express Corporation (NEC), made up of Durham School Services in the United States and Stock Transportation in Canada, will recognize its employees this Valentine’s Day for their commitment to safely transporting students.

As part of the American School Bus Council’s “Love the Bus” campaign, designed to raise awareness of the hundreds of thousands of men and women who safely drive more than 26 million children to and from school each day.

“From our office staff to bus drivers to driver monitors, all NEC employees take part in ensuring we achieve our mission: a passenger is picked up and delivered to a destination on time, safely and securely, every time,” said Andy Moriarty, Executive Vice President of Operations. “Without these dedicated employees, our work would not be possible, and we thank them for their commitment.”

Each NEC customer service center will receive a “Love the Bus” poster featuring photos of employees from each of NEC’s three corporate locations as well as a bulletin board decorating kit and raffle tickets for the chance to win one of five school bus cookie jars filled with goodies.

On its website
www.LoveTheBus.com, the American School Bus Council is asking teachers, parents and children to share stories about their favorite bus drivers, and make interactive valentines to email or print and give to their bus driver on Valentine’s Day, February 14. Educators may also visit the website to download an educators’ toolkit, which offers best practices for communicating about pupil transportation.
